"my mother always had a saying for everything when i was kid. well, she still does, but the ones i heard when i was a kid definitely shaped me. at a young age i learned, "a place for everything, and everything in its place." years later, i found myself examing my life as an adult, and that's when the proverbial light presented itself. and the rest is history. now i clean houses.
THE END
ha! that was a pretty great story, right?? i thought so...
more seriously, welcome home cleaning company is a collective effort culminating from shared frustration. a discontent familiar to many of us, our spirits became truly taxed at years of being overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated at jobs that ultimately meant little to us, and to which we meant even less. through our lives, amanda and i have dedicated sincere work ethic and creativity that yielded invaluable experiences, yes, but failed to provide the ever-so-elusive sense of satisfaction for which everyone, at one point or another, is searching. from the restaurant industry to event planning, from retail to rehabilitation, the various fields in which we've worked ingrained upon us many sentiments. some were good, some were bad. overall, the resoundingly positive experiences that trumped the monotony to it all were: 1) we enjoyed working with people, and 2) we liked taking charge and getting things done the right way.
welcome home cleaning company is not a corporate entity. we are not a franchise. we are us. amanda and i real people with real hopes and dreams in this lifetime, and welcome home is our vehicle to achieving them. are we the best at your mess because we mean clean? do we put the hurt on dirt because grime is a crime? does cleaning your home compel us to rhyme? no. no, it does not. we're a little too busy working to be concerned with whether or not our slogan can be sung. as a matter off fact, i don't even know that our slogan is a slogan. i mean, it's literally part of a conversation we were having about trying to come up with a slogan. anyway... we are not tap-dancing maids that pose in the midst of cleaning your house in order to "smile for the camera." we're two average, hard-working people looking to provide professional quality with a personal touch.
i know this "description" may be a bit lengthy, but if you are basing your decision on whether or not have us in your home, i'd like to illustrate a pretty good idea about who we are.
we put ourselves into our work, and i hope that shows. thank you for taking the time to read this, and we both look forward to doing business with you (or continuing to do so) in the future."
